To the Editor:
Whether you saw it in The Hull Times, on HCTV, on Facebook, or at the library, or just saw the sign at the Mary Jeanette Murray Bathhouse, we’re so glad you came to our book sale.
The Friends of the Hull Public Library would like to thank the library patrons and all lovers of books for making the annual book sale such a success. It was a pleasure to chat with so many of you about your selections and to share your joy in finding just the right book(s) and bargain. Your presence was not deterred by rain or shine.
Bob Sullivan of Pick Up Boyz (857-312-8301) deserves special thanks for taking time from his own business to transfer all the books, tables, and other paraphernalia from the library to the bathhouse. We couldn’t have done it without you, Bob.
Unsold books were then collected by Bay State Books. These books will be donated to local organizations and even overseas. Last but not least, thank you, Department of Conservation and Recreation, for getting all the tables and equipment back to the library.
Such a collaborative effort is what we Hullonians do best!
