The 2021 dog licensing period will begin on April 1 and end on March 31, 2022. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and continued advisory on precautions, licensing your dog will be available only by mail, by drop-off (in the Town Clerk box outside Town Hall), or online at https://www.doglicenses.us/MA/Hull/.
In accordance with the provisions of § 137, 137A of Chapter 140 of the General Laws, the town issues dog licenses for dogs 6 months and older.
The town has accepted the provisions of MGL c. 140, § 139, providing that no fee shall be charged for a license for a service animal as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act. No fee shall be charged for a license for a dog owned by a person age 70 or older at the time of licensing and if that person submits to the town clerk proper documentation. No refund shall be issued to such documentation being provided subsequent to the issuance of an individual license.
Dog owners who meet this eligibility waiver must still apply for the license and show the current year rabies certificate.
Male – unaltered, $15
Female – unaltered, $15
Neutered male – $10
Spayed female – $10
Required documentation to license a dog either in person or by mail is as follows:
- application
- certificate of current rabies vaccination
- certificate of spaying/neutering
- dog license payment made payable to “Town of Hull,” including self-addressed stamped envelope to: Town of Hull, 253 Atlantic Ave., Hull, MA 02045
- applicable fee
