To the Editor:
Thousands of peer-reviewed studies link radiation from today’s wireless technology to infertility, child and adult cancers, autism, DNA damage, and more. It is a neurotoxin and immunosuppressant.
In the short term, many suffer headaches, insomnia, nosebleeds, dizziness, anxiety, cognitive impairment, and other electrical sensitivity symptoms when 3G/4G/5G cell antennas or utility “smart” meters are installed. Electrical sensitivity is already recognized by the Americans With Disabilities Act.
Environmentally, wireless infrastructure consumes 10 times more energy than fiber optics and is damaging flora and fauna.
Studies show that when cell towers go in, property values drop 10 to 20 percent. Nobody wants to buy a home with a cell antenna on it.
The state of New Hampshire investigated and issued a ground-breaking report documenting wireless industry/FCC/FDA conflicts of interest. New Hampshire commissioners recommend fiber optics to the premises. Massachusetts has bills, too, and state Sen. Patrick O’Connor is tuning in.
The Federal Communications Commission is being sued for ignoring the science, so industry is moving fast to install before the courts rule.
Hull residents would be wise to ensure that local bylaws protect them and their properties. Do everything in your power to halt further toxic wireless installations in your neighborhood, and learn to minimize exposures from your own devices.
