Kathleen Bogdan has announced her candidacy for a seat on the Hull Housing Authority in the upcoming town election on May 18. Kathie grew up, raised her three daughters, and retired in Hull.
She became active in Hull in the 1970s, serving as secretary of Pop Warner Football. She then became chairwoman Hull’s first Beach Management Committee. During her time on the committee, she participated in writing the first beach management plan for Hull – the first one on the South Shore. She then became a member of the Hull Conservation Commission and also served as its chairwoman.
She currently attends most housing authority meetings; her main interest is in helping the elderly.
Kathie loves Hull and believes that it is her civic duty to become involved once again.
