Hull Police arrested a 20-year-old Scituate man on multiple charges on Sunday after he allegedly broke into a car on Samoset Avenue.
Chief John Dunn said that Jack Cifrino was arrested at around 4:20 p.m. and charged with breaking and entering into a vehicle in the daytime, carrying a dangerous weapon, and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
Dunn said a man called police on Sunday afternoon after seeing someone rummaging through the front cab of his work truck outside his Samoset Avenue home. Police say they do not believe anything was taken from the truck, however, when questioning Cifrino, they searched multiple bags belonging to him. Inside, they found a pocket knife and illegal double-edged knife, as well as a bottle of wine.
Cifrino was arrested and arraigned on Monday in Hingham District Court.
