This week at Hull Seaside Animal Rescue our gentle giant, by the name of Duncan, has requested that we write about him.
Duncan was brought to us recently after he was found in the town. He says he is about 4 years old and has been on his own for a while.
He has gorgeous green eyes and soft silvery-gray fur. He is quite a handsome guy, with a fine personality to match. A large cat with a sweet and gentle personality, he has a quiet way about him. He is slow to approach, but once he sees that he is safe with you, he comes right up and rubs against you to receive attention.
He has the cutest high-pitched meow and a quiet purr that belies his size. He adores being petted and lavished with attention. Who can blame him after being out on the streets? Treats are a favorite, and he will eat them right from your hand, then gently lick your hand as if to say “thank you.”
Duncan has told us he likes little perches to sit on so he can keep an eye on things. He also likes a covered spot where he can hide out for his cat naps. He is so grateful that he has been found and really wants to find a furever home indoors where he can be a friend and companion and live out his days in safety, comfort, and happiness.

A friendly reminder to please keep your cats indoors. Duncan agrees that indoor life is so much better (and safer) than being outside.
To all our adopters, volunteers, foster homes, and supporters, thank you for your continued kindness and help during this difficult time.
