This week at Hull Seaside Animal Rescue, we have Eleanor and Franklin, a lovely pair who have been together since they were young. Both are 10 and in good health, other than being overweight due to being overfed. Eleanor and Franklin came to us after their former caregiver died.
Eleanor (Ellie) is the more outgoing of the two. She is a darling, with beautiful green eyes and stunning coloring typical of a tortie. Her fur is in shades of caramel, sand, orange, black and dark brown. Her personality matches her good looks. She is cautious at first but quickly warms up to you. She adores being petted, brushed, and loved.
Her bonded companion, Franklin, is the more reserved of the two; it takes him a bit more time to come around. He will come over to be petted and loved once he feels comfortable. He is a big, handsome fellow with velvety black fur, except for one very small patch of white on his upper chest, and has stunning, large green eyes.
Eleanor and Franklin will need to be adopted together, and they will need a low-calorie diet to reduce their weight. A home on the quieter side would be best because they are more accustomed to a quiet place. Do Ellie and Franklin sound like the pair for you?
