This week Hull Seaside Animal Rescue is featuring a female tabby named Ginny. At age 4, she was surrendered by her loving family when they could not take her on their move abroad. Ginny was loved very much, and the family shared that she is a lap cat and very affectionate.
Her time spent at HSAR thus far has not been easy on her. She has been shy and a bit uncertain of her new surroundings and understandably so. However, she is already showing signs of wanting attention and, on her own time, emerges from the cat tree looking for a head scratch.
She has gorgeous green eyes and a velvety soft coat with gray and black markings. She is spayed and has been given a clean bill of health. She will do best as an only pet and in an environment where she can build trust and be showered with love once again.
If you are interested in meeting Ginny or other feline residents, you can call our adoption coordinator at 781-534-4902. Visiting hours are open to adopters on Monday, 6-7 p.m., and Saturday, 2-3 p.m. The shelter is located at 487 Nantasket Ave. For the safety of our volunteers, we ask that you wear a mask inside the shelter if you are not fully vaccinated.
We are a nonprofit organization that survives on your generous donations, grants, and fundraising efforts. If you would like to donate to HSAR, you can do so on our website, or send a check to HSAR, P.O. Box 787, Hull, MA 02045.
Please keep your cats indoors. This summer we have experienced many calls about lost cats. It’s too dangerous for them out in the world, and it is not worth the risk of losing them. They will live a longer and healthier life if you just keep them inside.
