To the Editor:
This letter is in reference to the increase of our electric bills to pay for the rental of the generators.
After the past year-plus, people are out of work and some are facing evictions.
Now is not the time to burden ratepayers with higher rates.
Bartley Kelly, chairman of the Hull Redevelopment Authority, released a report of all the projects the HRA has funded in town, at a cost of more than $360,000.
Instead of putting rate increases on our shoulders, let the HRA, which seems to have plenty of available cash, pay up and help the people in town.
