As we spend more time in our homes with family these days, an indulgence associated with summertime on Nantasket Beach might be a welcome treat for you and your loved ones. Two Hull establishments – Townie Frozen Desserts and Munchies and Milkshakes – are ready to deliver.
Hull residents Robin Flint and Stephen Gore, owners of Townie Frozen Desserts, started hitting the road this week, offering their popular frozen treats for free delivery right to your door. Flint acknowledges that “we’re all in this together. If ice cream can make your situation better, we are here to help.”
The handmade, small-batch pints they are delivering in Hull and surrounding communities are vegan, nondairy, and allergy-friendly ice cream, sorbets, and toppings. “Our social media customers are excited that we’re offering this service,” Flint says.
Townie can be contacted via its website, www.TownieFrozendesserts.com; email, towniefrozendesserts@gmail.com; and on social media, where information is posted regularly.
Along with its breakfast and lunch menu items, new eatery Munchies and Milkshakes is offering curbside pickup as well as home delivery for its ice cream creations (except for the self-described “huge but messy” Monstah Milkshakes).
The shop has two walk-up windows at its 169 C Nantasket Ave. location; staffers are happy to “run the food right out to you.”
For a full menu, including breakfast, lunch, ice cream and sundaes, visit the Munchies and Milkshakes Facebook page, and call 781-214-9092 to place an order.
