The Hull Pubic Library will be closed to the public until Monday, April 6.
All borrowed items from Hull’s or any other library in the Old Colony Library Network have been extended until April 27. Please do not return library items in the book drop, due to health concerns. Please keep them until April 27 or when Hull’s library reopens.
While the library is closed, you can obtain many library services online. There are two ways of doing this:
1. Visit the Old Colony Library Network website www.ocln.org. The library user will need to have valid ocln library card. The library card will have the user’s barcode. Each user has a default pin of ocln. Some people have changed their pin.
The OCLN website will allow the user to access the following services: Overdrive (which provides e-books and audiobooks); Newsbank (local newspapers); and Mass State Wide Databases (which provides information on a variety of subjects, including art, science, health, and history).
2. Visit the Hull Public Library website www.hullpubliclibrary.org. The library user will also need a valid OCLN library card to use these services. The Hull Public Library website provides access to the following databases: A to Z World Foods, Global World Warrior, A to Z World Maps, Mango Languages (learn a new language at home), and Hoopla (which provides access to movies, music, e-books and more.)
If you have questions, contact the library by phone at 781-925-2295 (leave a message if no one picks up) or email us at hucirc@ocln.org.
