The Hull Lifesaving Museum invites all military veterans to participate in the upcoming exhibit, a Veterans Art Showcase opening on May 5.
The purpose of the exhibit is to provide a space for veterans who make art to display their creative work. The museum is currently accepting pieces to be included in this show; the deadline to drop off artwork is April 28.
The show will run from May 5 through June 12 at the museum, 1117 Nantasket Ave.
Artists can choose whether their art is for sale. All media is eligible for entry: oils/acrylics, watercolor, mixed media, sculpture, photography, etc. All two-dimensional art must be framed and wired ready to hang. Maximum 2D size is 36 inches, 3D size is limited to 2 feet tall by 1 foot wide. All art that meets the guidelines will be accepted, but space is limited so art is accepted on a first-come, first-shown basis.
All exhibiting artists and friends are invited to a reception on Friday, June 10 from 5–7 p.m. at the museum.
Call 781-925-5433 or email info@hullifesavingmuseum.org for more drop-off instructions. There is a limit of three pieces per artist. After the show ends, artwork should be picked up at the museum after June 12 during museum hours.
