After a year’s hiatus, the Unicorn Singers and Broad Cove Chorale will be performing Christmas concerts at House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Hingham on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 7:30 p.m., and at First Parish Cohasset on Sunday, Dec. 12, at 4 p.m.
“O Magnum Mysterium”: “O great mystery, and wonderful sacrament, that animals should see the newborn Lord, lying in a manager.” The choruses will perform four settings of this text, two ancient and two modern versions, accompanied by arrangements of traditional carols and audience carol singing.
Tickets are $30, $20 for children age 12 and under, or $50 for a Wellspring sponsor ticket. All donations and excess revenue will go to the Diane Edson Fund of Wellspring Multi-Service Center in Hull.
Seating will be limited at both venues, so all tickets must be purchased or reserved in advance. They are available at www.bcc-us.org or from Kathy Reardon at 781-749-0162 or at email@example.com.
Masks will be required, and proof of vaccination or a negative coronavirus test within three days will be necessary for entry.
