This week at Hull Seaside Animal Rescue our friend Mack has requested that we tell his story. Mack was found in the streets of Dorchester. He says he is about 3 years old. He is quite handsome, with mesmerizing yellow-green eyes and short black and white fur.
He wants everyone to know that he has been out on the streets for a long time. He has some healed scratches and scruffy-looking fur, which he says is the result of defending himself on the streets. His fur will improve (and already has since coming to us) now that he is safe indoors and can properly groom himself.
Once you look past the scruffy surface, there is a quiet and sweet cat who wants to love. Mack will come right over to greet you when you enter his room. He says he likes people, but he also enjoys time on his own, as he is used to being by himself. He likes to hang out on a chair, perch, or cat tree and watch the world around him.
Mack says he is still working on trusting people completely, understandable considering he was out on his own for so long. He truly wants to love and get close to people. You can see it as soon as you meet him. He will take treats right from your hand. A loving home without small children would be ideal.
Mack thanks you for taking the time to read about him. He hopes to be in a forever home ASAP where he can get all the love and attention he desires and deserves. Could you be Mack’s forever companion and friend?
