To the Editor:
It is deeply troubling to be reminded by the recent Duxbury football game incident that anti-Semitism (like other forms of hate) is still so firmly ingrained in our collective heart that it escapes, unnamed, in our actions and words.
Damage is done by releasing hateful or derogatory words and holding those feelings in our hearts.
We must all join in the work to wipe out anti-Semitism and stop the damage. The Hull No Place for Hate Committee encourages initiatives that lead individuals and institutions to increase self-awareness, promote change, and educate future generations.
