Nostalgia Weekend returns to the Paragon Carousel this Saturday and Sunday with a series of fun events.
On Saturday, come play vintage carnival games from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., where everyone is a winner! There will be a bean-bag toss, ring toss, knock-’em-down can pyramid, duck pond floating ducks, and more.
Toys will be available for sale for just $1 each, and you will be serenaded by the music of the 89-key Gavioli Diamond Jubilee Organ, the largest touring antique fairground organ in the Americas.
In the evening, a vintage costume contest will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come dressed in your favorite decade of the carousel – from the ’20s, right up through the ’80s. Prizes include gift certificates to local businesses.
Sunday will continue the fun with Dollar Day – ride the carousel for just $1 per ride from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and purchase discounted vintage-style Paragon Park merchandise.
The weekend wraps up with National Carousel Day on Monday, where you can ride the carousel again for just $1 per ride from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
