Mark your calendars for this Tuesday night, June 7, to help raise money for PorchFest, the annual music festival that will be held for the third year this fall.
Organizers have planned an evening of music beginning at 7 p.m. with The Belted Galloways and Mike Dardis at The Parrot restaurant, which is featuring a special menu for the occasion. There will be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle to raise funds to put on the event, which is a fundraiser for the Anne M. Scully Senior Center. PorchFest has donated $10,000 from the last two events for that purpose.
This year’s PorchFest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 1 to 6 p.m., with musicians performing on the porches of private homes in the Kenberma area.
Tickets to next week’s fundraiser are $25. Visit www.hullporchfest.org to buy tickets for the fundraiser, find information about sponsorships and how to make a donation, and other details of the event.
