To the Editor:
I am writing on behalf of the citizens of Hull on why are we building more condos when our selectmen and town manager are not fixing the infrastructure issues in the town first.
The sewer plant cannot process the incoming sewer already and needs to be upgraded; National Grid just sucked us dry for renting generators instead of fixing the issue, so now the light plant wants to raise rates also with the water company.
So, what is being done to offset costs to help the taxpayers? Oh, yes, build a huge apartment building where the arcade is and add more water, sewer, and electric needs for this building with no plan to fix the issues that are already in play.
It just is upsetting that we add, add, add with no consequences, which makes our town leaders incompetent or just plain numb to the facts that are sitting on the table now.
