To the Editor:
In the signature of a letter that was printed in last week’s edition of The Hull Times, I identified myself as a Hull Select Board member. Regrettably, it seems that some people may have gotten the impression that I was writing on behalf of the select board. This is not the case.
The letter was, and is, my personal opinion on what I think to be an important community issue. The letter was written in the first-person, and I did not suggest that I was writing on behalf of the select board. I am sorry that my signature may have given that impression, and I want to be clear that it should not in any way be construed as a reflection of the opinion of other select board members, or of the board itself.
