To the Editor:
On Friday, Jan. 22, Hull seemed to be a deserted town. Oh, yes, stores were open, but municipal buildings were locked tight. In the midst of a pandemic and terrible weather, one might assume that a resident could be able to contact someone (even by phone) who could answer a few questions, such as: Where could one get an appointment for a vaccine shot?
This writer had been notified that the senior center had that information. But the center wasn’t open, nor was it returning calls.
As a former sailor, the feeling was like being on a small boat with a hole in it.
