Bibbidi Bobbidi Bright 2021 was so much fun. We had 38 participants who really went all out. There were so many extra little touches this year. Everyone really went above and beyond to create a special night for the amazing people of Hull.
With the town’s support, we were able to raise $243 toward the Campbells Christmas Angels Project and the Hull High School theater arts program. We also received an additional $200 donation from Dave Gibbons, with the Hull Youth Football and Hull Youth Baseball. Our thanks to them.
The elves have been hard at work collecting all the votes and sorting all the prizes. We have our Top 10 best-dressed houses – from the Santa at O Street to the gorgeous village display on Clifton Avenue, from the music outside and Star Wars blowups to the creative countdown in the window on Nantasket Avenue.
Here are the winners of this year’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Bright contest: first place, 17 O St.; second, 20 Clifton Ave.; third, 733 Nantasket Ave.; fourth, 2 6th St.; fifth, 502 Nantasket Ave.; sixth, 14 Lewis St.; seventh, 197 Samoset Ave.; eighth, 58 Park Ave.; ninth, 96 Nantasket Road; and 10th, 6 Main St.
Thanks to all our prize donations from our local businesses and friends. A special thank you to Gary Hedrick Art and Design, Weinberg’s, and Nantasket Flatts for helping me design and host our map pickup/drop-off.
