VOLUNTEER EFFORT. Last Saturday, in an effort to support the needs of Afghan refugees new to the South Shore, volunteers for the Refugee and Immigrant Assistance Center and the South Shore Action Group collected donated furniture to help furnish the refugees’ new homes. The initiative was coordinated by Hull residents Craig Wolfe and Irwin Nesoff and their team of 25 volunteers.
