After expanding to a second location last fall, Wellspring Multi-Service Centers, headquartered in Hull, is launching a new logo. The logo and a new tagline are part of the organization’s evolution, its leader explained, and was made possible through the generosity of Fresh (found on the web at www.Freshsince2015.com).
“We are an organization that has been evolving to meet the needs of the community and meet the needs of our clients. And to evolve, the logo and brand just made a lot of sense. Our mission is untouched, but the look, the logo, is going to be new and exciting, just like the future we are headed toward,” said Wellspring President and CEO Vinny Harte.
In the fall of 2020, Wellspring added a location at 409 Washington St. in Weymouth. Wellspring’s rebranding effort, led by Fresh co-founder Sean Cunningham and Wellspring Board of Directors member William Haeck, falls in lockstep with that milestone.
With the help of a rebranding committee made up of current and former Wellspring board members, Foundation for Wellspring trustees, and longtime members of the Wellspring community, the new logo pays homage to the original and brings a fresh look to the community-based organization.
The expansion into Weymouth grew out of the organization’s desire to bring its “wrap-around” model to more people. The COVID-19 pandemic increased hardship in the area. Even before the pandemic, the number of clients seeking Wellspring’s services was on the rise, but in 2020 alone client visits grew by 86 percent.
An organization that began with a small group of volunteers and a single storefront in Hull has grown into a regional leader in social services staffed by professional and caring individuals dedicated to improving their neighbors’ lives.
